Sermons Online

We've missed the past couple weeks getting the sermons online. This is due to some new recording equipment that was generously donated that took us a little longer to get configured and setup than anticipated. This new equipment will allow for us to create better records and will also allow for us to record and “mix down” some of the music from the contemporary service to put online. Watch for that in the coming months. We are now, however, ready to go again with the sermons so starting this week you will see the sermons online again. We will get the sermons from the last three weeks up soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Actually, Remedy Drive is coming but the name of there new release is "Daylight" which has been played on KXOJ! The FREE concert is this Wednesday September 10th so now is the time to invite all your friends and family. This will be a great concert and it will be even better with a packed house so get busy inviting everyone you know.

A four-peice, four-brother band (David, Philip, Paul and Dan Zach), Remedy Drive has been cranking out their own brand of music as a full time indie for the past 5 years. The band's debut release, "Daylight Is Coming" was produced by Ian Eskelin (All Star United) and will be nationally available August 26, 2008.

With a message of hope for the searching and a desire to reach beyond a static life for something bigger, Remedy Drive combines a heart-on-a-sleeve sensibilities with their one-of-a-kind live show - the Midwest has never felt like this before.

They will be at Immanuel on Wednesday September 10 at 6:00 pm. Get the word out. Let everyone know. We want to pack the sanctuary. It will be a great show.

Technical Difficulties

UPDATE - I forgot to mention logins. If you had a login for the website previously it is gone. the sign-up process is currently not working but we are working to get that going again. I'll let you know when the sign up is working.

Due to some technical difficulties, all that data for the website was lost over the weekend. But thanks to the grace of God (and Google's search cache) we were able to recover a lot of the data. Not everything has been restored and not everything will be able to be restored but we are in the processes of getting as much of the data back as possible. If you get an error trying to access the website or can't find something that was there before please be patient and it should be resolved by the end of the week.

Its global mission focuses on church planting and leadership development in North America and around the world. LCMS World Mission currently has active work, or active or historical mission relationships in approximately 85 countries and maintains a total global missionary force of approximately 320 personnel (career, long-term volunteer, international educators, spouses, and contracted part-time), an additional 233 military chaplains (Air Force, Army, Navy, Veteran's Administration, Civil Air Patrol, National Guard, and Reserve), and a supporting staff of 41 at its headquarters in St. Louis, Mo.

Josh Lange
Josh Lange serves the Lord as a long-term missionary throughout Asia, but is based in Hong Kong. He is the Asia region’s communications specialist, which includes finding ways to effectively communicate what God is doing through missionaries and mission projects in Asia. Josh meets with missionaries to gather information and record their stories in written and video form, so that it can be shared with churches and individuals in the United States a'nd throughout Asia.

Mike and Sarah Weider
Mike and Sarah Weider serve as LCMS international educators at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) in Jakarta, Indonesia. SPH is a Christian international school with students from many countries around the world. Mike is the international baccalaureate coordinator and religion teacher for grades 10 through 12, and Sarah serves as a school counselor. The Weiders also assist with worship in house churches, lead chapel at the school, and lead Bible studies for students.
